of 300 bedded Life Line Foundation Hospital
with provision of future expansion upto 500
beds by Life Line Foundation Society
registered under the Society Registration
Act of (XXI of 1860) in Ghatyan, Muzaffar
Nagar (UP, India).
Description of the project & its
objects
A plot of land measuring 25 acres has
been acquired by the society with the
purpose of establishing 300 bedded hospital
in first phase with addition of 200 beds and
a nursing school and paramedical training
programme in second phase. Conveyance deeds
of the land at annexure II.
The hospital will provide basic
facilities of Medicines, Surgery, Obst &
Gynae, Eye, ENT, Paediatrics Orthopaedics to
rural, community with special emphasis on
the disadvantaged classes.
Besides the basic facilities, supportive
services of radiology & imaging, anaesthesia,
pathological laboratory, microbiology
biochemistry, dentist & psychiatry blood
will be available in the hospital.
In hospital being in rural area will
provide instant emergency services to the
road accident and trauma victims so there is
proposal to have a high-tech emergency &
trauma department functioning round the
clock and with provision of CT Scan. The
time in transporting the accident will not
be lost in victims to major hospital in
cities in scantaneous treatment can be given
to him urgently and precious human life can
be saved by timely treatment in hospital.
With this prime objective life line
foundation hospital is being located in
rural area.
Super Specialties of cardiology
Nephrology Neurology gastroenterology will
be started in first phase of the hospital
presently there is no super specialty
treatment facilities in the entire catchment
area of the hospital while incidence of
cardiac diseased, Kidney ailments, accident
cases are very common as per the survey by a
team of specialists.
A total population coverage for availing
this hospital facilities is more than 10
lakhs from Muzzaffar Nagar, surrounding
villages and small towns out of these
maximum beneficiaries would be villagers who
deal in agriculture mainly. They will prefer
the nearest hospital than going to Delhi or
big cities.
The life line foundation hospital will
establish linkage with health centers,
dispensaries and private practitioners of
the surrounding areas and serve as secondary
and tertiary level hospital.
The hospital will also work for community
health programme in the catchment area.
The hospital will start training
programme in Nursing & paramedical for rural
youth. This will generate employment
opportunities for local youths.
School for Visually Challenged
Establishment of school for visually
challenged children. The children from poor
families who cannot take care of their
special needs will be benefited from this
school. The school will provide education,
clothes, medical and food to these children
free of cost.
Justification for opening the
Hospital
in Rural Areas
The Govt. of India is committed to
provide health care including
hospitalisation at the door steps of rural
community.
The utilization of hospital facilities
has been increasing rapidly in rural areas &
opening of a hospital here will lesson
patient load to city hospital.
